We believe in the importance of being able to control who gets what information. This not only means you want your coworker to have your work email, and your friend to have your personal phone number, but it also means there are people who shouldn’t have any of your information.
We’ve made several choices in how PULSE is built to ensure only the people you choose to share with get the details you choose to share. Unique Codes Each card has a unique QR code, so only people you’ve shared your code with can see your card. Data Encryption Data is encrypted, so only those who are meant to see your information see it. No Data Sold We know your personal information is, well, personal. It’s not our business to sell your data.
We do not sell our users’ private personal information. We require some basic information (an email address) to create an account. All other information you provide, such as your name or phone number, is optional. We track non-identifiable information about you, such as how often you use HiHello, in order to better understand use. We use this information to improve our services.
Throughout this Privacy Policy we’ll refer to our website, mobile applications and other products and services collectively as “Services.” Below we explain how we collect, use, and share information about you, along with the choices that you have with respect to that information.
Information We Collect
We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so–for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better. We also collect some information automatically: Log Information: Like most online service providers, we collect information that web browsers, mobile devices, and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, IP address, unique device identifiers, language preference, referring site, the date and time of access, operating system, and mobile network information. We collect log information when you use our Services. Usage Information: We collect information about your usage of our Services.
